Riverboat Chicken And Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. chicken (2 fryers 3 to 3 1/2 lb. each), cooked with white onions and celery
    2 c. fresh chopped mushrooms
    2 1/2 lb. medium shrimp
    16 Tbsp. flour
    8 Tbsp. butter
    7 c. chicken broth
    1 c. slivered almonds
    2 tsp. chopped green onions
    4 tsp. chopped parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
Preparation
    Heat fat; add onion and cook until soft. Blend in flour; add broth and chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, almonds and parsley. Stir until slightly thickened. Season with celery salt and sherry, if desired. Serve in patty shell.
