Shoo-Fly Pie(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 c. molasses
    1 egg
    3/4 c. hot water
    1 tsp. baking soda in 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix together first 3 ingredients and reserve 1/2 cup for crumbs.
    Blend together rest of ingredients and add to first mixture.
    Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell and top with reserved crumbs.
    Bake for 35 minutes in 375\u00b0 oven.
