Toll House Marble Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    6 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. water
    1 egg
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat butter, sugars, vanilla and water together until creamy. Beat in egg.
    Sift flour, salt and baking soda together and mix in. Spread in greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 minutes.
    Run a knife through dough to marbleize.
    Bake 12 to 14 minutes more.
