Chili-Cheese Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. meat (approximately; round or chuck)
    1/2 c. onion
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 Tbsp. garlic salt or to taste
    1/4 c. chili powder
    2 cans whole tomatoes
    1 (2 lb.) Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat; add onion, oregano, garlic salt and chili powder. Add tomatoes last.
    Simmer these ingredients for 20 to 30 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water to keep from drying (more if needed).
    Add cheese chunks, stirring until melted.
    Serve warm with nacho chips.
    Better if chips aren't salted.
