Sandwich Spread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large onions
    6 green tomatoes
    6 cucumbers
    6 red peppers
    6 green peppers
    salt
    vinegar
    1 c. flour
    1 small jar French mustard
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Grind all together and
    add
    1
    large
    handful of salt. Let stand for 1 hour, then drain this and boil 15 minutes in 1 quart vinegar.
    Mix
    together
    flour, mustard, sugar, turmeric and 1 pint vinegar.
    Add
    to
    first
    mixture.
    Cook
    a little, then put in jars and seal.
