Zeppole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. Ricotta cheese
    4 eggs
    4 to 5 Tbsp. confectioners sugar or 1 tsp. vanilla
    Crisco (heated)
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix Ricotta, eggs and powdered sugar in large mixing bowl. Add flour and baking powder; mix well.
    Drop in hot Crisco by tablespoons.
    Deep fry until golden brown.
    Serves about 3 dozen.
