Tipsy Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 loin or chump pork chops
    1 onion
    1/2 pt. cider (approximately)
    2 cooking apples
    pinch of mixed herbs
    1 tsp. made mustard
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 oz. butter
Preparation
    Melt butter and fry chops on both sides.
    Remove and spread the mustard on one side.
    Keep warm.
    In the remaining butter and juices from the chops, fry the chopped onion and stir in the flour. Add the herbs and cider and cook until the sauce thickens.
    Place the sliced apples in a casserole and pour the sauce on top of them. Place the chops on top and brown in the oven at 350\u00b0 or gas mark 4 for 25 minutes.
