Macaroon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg whites
    14 saltine crackers, finely crushed
    12 dates, chopped
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    unsweetened whipped cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff; add sugar.
    Stir in remaining ingredients and put into a 9 or 10-inch greased pie pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 40 minutes; cool completely and top with unsweetened whipped cream.
