Harriett'S Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can tomatoes, cut up small
    3 medium potatoes, unpeeled (bite size)
    2 to 3 carrots (bite size)
    1 medium onion, diced
    your choice stew meat, ground turkey or hamburger (optional)
    other ingredients added later (see directions)
Preparation
    Start cooking meat in covered pan, you want some liquid from meat.
    Season with garlic powder to taste while cooking.
    Heat water in pan after meat is done; scrape pan into stew.
