Pumphrey Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Mix sugar and shortening well.
    Beat eggs and add to first mixture.
    Add flour and salt.
    Bake in tube pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
