Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 (10 oz.) jar apricot filling
1 c. finely chopped nuts
2 c. flour
2 egg yolks
Preparation

Cream butter.
Gradually add sugar.
Beat until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolks and blend well.
Gradually add flour; mix well.
Fold in nuts.
Put half batter in greased 8-inch square pan.
Spread apricot filling over this.
Cover with remaining batter.
Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Take from oven and cool. Cut in inch square pieces.
May be sprinkled with powdered sugar. Store in tight container.
