Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 lb. sifted confectioners sugar
    4 eggs
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. warm water
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift dry ingredients.
    Mix water and extracts.
    Add sifted ingredients to egg mixture alternately with combined water and extracts.
    Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 60 to 65 minutes.
