"Can Do" Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 2/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. Hershey's cocoa or Nestle Quik
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour 2 round layer pans, 8 or 9 x 1 1/2-inch, or 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan.
In large bowl, combine all ingredients.
Blend on low speed 30 seconds, scraping sides and bottom of bowl.
Beat 3 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl frequently.
Pour into prepared pan.
Bake layers 30 to 35 minutes, oblong 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Frost as desired.
