Pickled Cocktail Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (4 oz.) cans button mushrooms
    1 c. white wine or cider vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 shredded bay leaf
    3 cloves
    3 peppercorns
    1 clove garlic, sliced
    1 slice lemon (I often use about 1 tsp. ReaLemon)
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, seasonings and mushroom liquor.
    Boil for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Add mushrooms.
    Turn into a jar; let stand overnight.
    Letting them stand 1 to 2 weeks will improve flavor.
