Sweet-Sour Red Cabbage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1/3 c. molasses
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
8 c. shredded red cabbage
Preparation

In a large pan, fry bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon; crumble and set aside.
Add onion and celery.
Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir in vinegar, molasses, mustard and salt.
Heat to boiling point.
Add shredded cabbage.
Stir to mix.
Cover and simmer until very tender, about 15 minutes.
Serves 6.
