Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. unsweetened evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    2/3 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix cake mix and 1/3 cup milk with butter until it holds together.
    Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk; set aside.
    Put half of the cake mix in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.
    Bake for 6 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Pour caramel mixture over and sprinkle with chips.
    Crumble remaining cake mix over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 16 to 18 minutes.
