Onions Celeste - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large onions
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. pepper
triangles of stale bread, crust trimmed off
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1 soup can milk
1/2 lb. grated Swiss or Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Slice onions and saute in a large skillet with butter; sprinkle with pepper.
When onions are soft, place in a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.
Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Mix soup and milk until smooth.
Pour over onions and cheese.
Lay triangles of stale bread on top.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
