Fast Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. unpopped corn
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    1 1/2 c. peanuts or mixed nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 stick butter or margarine (do not use vegetable oil)
Preparation
    Pop the corn.
    Remove any \"old maids\" from popcorn.
    Combine other ingredients in pan and bring to a boil.
    Boil for 2 minutes once it has started.
    Put popcorn into a (clean) large \"grocery\" bag.
    Pour caramel mixture over popcorn.
