Chewy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. cake mix (lemon or chocolate)
1 stick butter or margarine
3 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar

Preparation

Melt the butter in an 11 x 13-inch pan.
Mix 1 egg and cake mix in a bowl (this is a very dry mixture).
Sprinkle this over the melted butter in the 11 x 13-inch pan.
Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs and powdered sugar until smooth. Pour this mixture on top of the cake mixture.
Spread it to completely cover the cake mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Allow to cool at least 20 minutes.
Makes 18 to 24 squares.
