Better Than Sex Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 layer) yellow cake mix
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 (4 oz.) Jell-O instant pudding
    1 c. coconut, flaked or shredded
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Prepare and bake cake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake to package directions.
    Pour pineapple and its juice into a saucepan with the sugar and cook until slightly thickened.
    Keep hot.
    When cake comes from the oven, poke holes all over the top.
    Pour hot pineapple over the hot cake.
    Chill cake in refrigerator.
    When cake is cold, prepare instant vanilla pudding and add the coconut; spread over cake.
    Spread the Cool Whip over the pudding and then sprinkle walnuts all over.
    Keep in refrigerator for safe keeping, covered with plastic wrap.
    Serves 12 large pieces or 15 smaller.
