Frozen Rainbow Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. whipping cream
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    18 coconut macaroons, crushed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3 pt. sherbet (1 lemon or orange, 1 lime and 1 raspberry)
Preparation
    Whip the cream.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Fold in crushed macaroons and nuts.
    Spread half of this mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cover with alternate small spoonfuls of sherbet so that some of each color/flavor will be in each serving.
    Top with remaining cream mixture, smoothing out and freeze.
    Serves 10 to 16.
