2 Day Cucumber Pickles (Lime) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups lime
    2 gallon cold water
    8 lb. cucumbers, sliced
    3 Tbsp. spices (mixed)
    2 qt. white vinegar
    9 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Dissolve lime in water, stir until dissolved. Soak cucumbers in solution for 24 hours. Remove and wash 4 times. Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt in jar together for later. Put spices in cloth bag, place in bottom of pan. Put cucumbers on top of spices and pour on vinegar, sugar, and salt solution. Soak overnight. Boil 15 minutes. Put cucumbers in and seal.
