Baked Fish Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or more fish fillets
    8 slices American cheese
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. oregano, basil or thyme
    1/4 c. corn oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Layer fish and cheese in a greased baking dish.
    Sprinkle with spices.
    Cook onion in hot oil in skillet until tender, but not brown.
    Stir in cornstarch, salt and pepper.
    Slowly add milk and bring to a boil.
    Stir constantly for 1 or 2 minutes.
    Pour over fish.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, until fish flakes easily with fork.
