Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. warm water
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    4 c. plain flour
Preparation
    Sprinkle yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 teaspoon sugar; set aside.
    Mix 1/3 cup sugar, 1 cup warm water, egg, Crisco and salt. Add 1/4 cup water and 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Knead and put in large mixing bowl.
    Let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
    Mash down and store in refrigerator, about 2 hours before using.
    Roll out on floured board and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Brush rolls with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 until done.
