Molded Mints - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. white Karo syrup
1 egg white
1 3/4 lb. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. flavoring
food coloring
sugar
Preparation

Combine shortening, syrup, egg white, 1 pound confectioners sugar, flavoring and food coloring in mixer bowl; beat well.
Beat in as much remaining confectioners sugar as needed to make a stiff consistency.
Shape into balls; roll into sugar.
Press into candy molds.
Let dry for a day.
May be frozen.
Mint mixture can be divided for different flavoring and color.
