Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 large can fruit cocktail
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. crushed walnuts
Preparation
    Mix egg and sugar.
    Add the fruit cocktail.
    Stir in the rest of the ingredients, except for the brown sugar and the walnuts. The topping is the brown sugar and walnuts.
    Put these on top of the cake and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
