Quick Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 regular size marshmallows
    2/3 c. canned milk
    2 c. sugar
    few grains salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (6 oz.)
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir the first 5 ingredients over medium heat until top begins to bubble all over.
    Set timer for 5 minutes. Stir.
    Add the chocolate pieces, nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered pan (8-inch square). Set in refrigerator for 1 hour. Can be successfully doubled.
    Never fails to harden.
