Ingredients

1 large can whole beets
1 c. sugar
1 c. beet juice (add water if needed)
1 c. vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
6 whole cloves
1 doz. eggs
Preparation

Boil beets for 10 minutes in sugar, water, vinegar and spices. Boil eggs until hard-boiled and shell while still hot.
