Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cool water
1 yeast cake
1/4 c. shortening
4 c. flour
Preparation

Melt yeast in water; melt shortening.
Put egg in bowl; beat. Add sugar and salt.
After yeast has melted in water, pour into mixture.
Add flour, stirring to mix well.
Let rise and then make into rolls.
Let rise again and bake in hot oven at about 400\u00b0 until golden brown.
May be stored in refrigerator, if desired.
