Onion Rings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large Bermuda onion
1 qt. buttermilk
4 c. flour
1 qt. oil for frying
Preparation

Heat oil in heavy metal pan to 375\u00b0.
Slice a large onion crosswise, about 3/8-inches thick.
Separate into rings.
Dip rings first in buttermilk, then flour.
Repeat this 3 times.
Fry in oil (turning once) until golden brown.
Use tongs to put in and remove.
Drain on paper towels and keep warm in 200\u00b0 oven until serving.
Season as desired with salt.
