Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 1/2 c. water
1 c. raisins
1/4 c. Crisco
2 eggs

Preparation

Cook raisins in 2 1/2 cups water 10 minutes.
Add Crisco and let cool.
Then add sifted dry ingredients to this.
Beat eggs thoroughly and add them to other mixture.
Bake in 13 x 9-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
