Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
2/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mash coarsely the sweet potatoes and blend with the rest of the dry ingredients.
Lightly mix dry ingredients with buttermilk, stirring with a spoon. Sweet potatoes can be moist or dry so adjust the amount of buttermilk to form a smooth dough. Spread the biscuit dough out 1/2-inch thick on a floured counter. Cut and bake in a 400\u00b0 oven until well browned, about 15 minutes.
