Nancy'S Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. real butter
    4 c. plain flour
    4 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 Tbsp. pure vanilla
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Soften butter to room temperature. Knead into flour.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Mix in pecans.
    Using a scoop or hands, form into small balls; place on cookie sheets. Bake about 45 minutes.
    Roll in confectioners sugar while hot. Let cool and re-roll in sugar.
    Makes about five dozen crescents.
