Two-Toned Walnut Jumbles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, divided
2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
Preparation

Beat together shortening, sugars and vanilla.
Add eggs; continue beating until fluffy.
Stir in 1 cup of the walnuts.
Sift flour together with soda and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
Divide dough into halves, in separate bowls.
Stir melted chocolate into one of the bowls of dough.
