Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 very ripe peaches
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    sprinkle of cinnamon
Preparation
    Peel and slice peaches; place in bowl and add 2 tablespoons sugar.
    Set aside for 1/2 hour.
    In a shallow dish, melt butter. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add milk and stir.
    Pour batter into baking dish over butter.
    Spread evenly.
    Top batter with peaches including juice.
    Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Batter rises to top.
