Cheddar Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/4 c. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. Velveeta cheese
    1 c. cubed cooked ham
Preparation
    Simmer the first 6 ingredients together for 10 minutes.
    Make a white sauce of flour, margarine, milk, salt and pepper.
    Cook until slightly thickened, then add to cooked vegetables (drain part of water but not all).
    Add cheese and ham.
    Cook just until cheese is melted, do not boil.
    Serves 4 people.
    You can adjust the amount of vegetables to your own liking.
