Feathery Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    3 sq. (3 oz.) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
    1 1/4 c. cold water
Preparation
    Grease and lightly flour two 9 x 1 1/2-inch round baking pans. Combine the first 3 ingredients.
    In a mixer bowl, beat butter on medium speed of electric mixer, about 30 seconds.
    Add sugar and vanilla and beat until well combined.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each.
    Blend in cooled chocolate.
    Add dry ingredients and cold water alternately to beaten mixture, beating after each addition.
    Turn into pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0
    oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until done.
    Cool 10 minutes on wire racks. Remove from pans.
    Cool.
    Makes 12 servings.
