Italian Sausage And Onion - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Italian sausages
    3 medium onions, sliced lengthwise
    3 medium green peppers, sliced
    oil (small amount)
    1/2 c. white wine
    very little water
Preparation
    Brown sausages; add water.
    Cover and let steam 1/2 hour; drain.
    Brown again.
    Cool and cut into bite size pieces.
    Cook onions and pepper in oil until tender.
    Add sausages with the white wine and heat through.
    You can serve this over pasta.
