Almond Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter, shortening
    and
    sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time,
    beating
    after each addition.
    Add flour which has been sifted with
    baking
    powder,
    alternately
    with milk, beginning with flour, then milk
    and
    ending with flour. Add vanilla and almond extract;
    mix
    well.
    Bake in preheated oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
