Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Combine first 5 ingredients together in a bowl.
Add next 3 ingredients and mix only until all ingredients are well combined.
Put into a well greased 8-inch by 8-inch pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
