Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. sweet milk
    3 c. plain flour
    dash of salt
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift all dry ingredients together.
    Cream sugar and Crisco. Add 1 egg at a time; beat.
    Add milk and dry ingredients, alternating.
    Beat well.
    Add vanilla flavoring.
    Cook on low, 300\u00b0, for 1 1/2 hours in a tube pan.
