Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter
    1 c. grits (regular)
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Heat milk and butter in deep saucepan to boiling point but do not boil.
    Add grits and cook 15 minutes or until done, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add salt and pepper.
    Beat vigorously (electric beater at high) for 5 minutes.
    Pour into buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole and pour melted butter over top. Sprinkle with cheeses.
    Bake about 30 minutes or until brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 8.
