Cheese-Stuffed Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 egg
    3/4 c. plain bread crumbs
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    6 slices American cheese, cut in half
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix beef, onion, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and one can of tomato sauce.
    Pat half of mixture into loaf pan.
    Place cheese down center and cover with remaining meat, pressing edges of meat together.
    Top with the second can of tomato sauce and bake 1 hour or until done.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
