Claudia'S Green Chili Enchiladas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 12 tortillas
    3 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 small onion (optional)
    1 can Old El Paso green enchiladas sauce
    1 small can chopped green chilies
    2 cloves garlic (or 1 tsp. garlic powder)
    chili powder to taste
    1 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/2 tsp. Lantana seasoning
    1 lb. lean ground beef
Preparation
    Heat
    enchilada
    sauce, water (enough to rinse can) and juice from
    green chilies in a saucepan (big enough to hold a flat tortilla).\tMeanwhile, fry meat and pour grease off.
    Add garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper to meat.
    Get remaining ingredients ready and grease large ovenware dish.
    Dip tortillas
    in 1/4-inch of hot oil.
    Fry quickly on both sides (don't let
    it get crisp). Put in sauce.
    Place on serving dish.
    In middle
    of
    tortilla, place
    meat,
    cheese,
    onion
    and green chilies.
    Roll
    the tortilla
    and
    place
    the
    end on bottom. Cover with remaining sauce, cheese and green chilies.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or microwave.
