Baked Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 lb. apples, cored, cooked and sieved
    1 c. sugar for each 2 c. pulp
    grated rind and juice of 2 lemons
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. Port wine
Preparation
    Heat oven to 275-300\u00b0. Mix ingredients; cook in oven until thick. Stir about every half hour. Pour into hot sterilized jars. Makes 5 pints.
