Bavarian Creme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (any fruit flavor)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    3/4 c. cold water or fruit juice
    1 c. canned fruit, drained and diced (reserve juice)
    1 envelope Dream Whip topping mix or 1 c. whipping cream
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O and sugar in the boiling water.
    Add the cold water to which is added the reserved fruit juice to make up the 3/4 cup.
    Chill until thickened.
    Add the prepared Dream Whip or the whipped cream and then add the cup of drained fruit.
    Mix until blended.
    Pour into 1-quart mold or bowl and chill until firm.
