Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. real hot water
3 c. shelled raw peanuts
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Put
all ingredients, except peanuts and baking soda on stove and
cook
until
real
brittle when dropped by spoon in cold water.
Pour
the
3 cups of shelled peanuts in and cook, stirring all
the time.
When syrup bubbles are turning brown take off stove
and add baking soda.
Stir real good and pour on big buttered
board
or
formica table top.
Pull from the edges as it\tcools.\tKeep pulling and breaking off in pieces. Keep doing this until all is pulled up.
This will keep a long time packed in Tupperware.
