Old Fashioned Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 unbaked pie shell (9 or 10-inch)
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light; add sugar and beat well.
    Add milk, melted butter and vanilla.
    Add nutmeg.
    Pour into pie shell and bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0
    and bake 20 minutes or until firm.
    Test for doneness with a knife in center of pie.
    If the knife comes out clean, the pie is done.
