2 lb. sweet butter (1 lb.)
1 1/4 lb. sugar (1 1/4 c.)
juice of 2 lemons and rind grated (1 lemon)
7 eggs (2 whole, 5 yellows) (1 whole, 3 yellows)
dash of salt
3 lb. flour (5 1/4 c.)
3 tsp. baking powder (1 1/2 tsp.)
