Creole Black Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. smoked sausage, cut into one inch pieces
3 - 15 oz. cans black beans, drained
1 1/2 C. chopped onion
1 1/2 C. chopped celery
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tsp. leaf thyme
1 1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 chicken bouillon cube
5 bay leaves
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 C. water
Preparation

Combine ingredients except sausage and put in crock-pot. Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Remove bay leaves. Serve over cooked rice.
